My Journal
I know I've said here on the site and other places that I've stopped doing conventions, but I'm walking that way back. (Ignore the Calendar box, it's being updated.) Late last year I did a couple with Tom Ruegger, Paul Rugg and several of my other Warner Bros. and DC Comics pals and collaborators, and I had some great fun. It was wonderful to meet fans and hang out with old friends, so much so that I'm doing it again this year. So far I've lined up Planet Comic Con in Kansas City March 27-29, MomoCon in Atlanta, May 21-24, and most likely Fan Expo Boston, Aug 7-9. That's not counting a few others hovering off in the ether for possibly later this year. Every time Tom and I do a panel, it's a good time - lots of fun stories and interesting questions. We're looking at bringing some great special guests with us this year, and there will be more information on that soon. Also, I've been working on a ton of brand new books, comics and other things for release this fall and into next year, so those shows will be the perfect places to announce them. No sneak peeks now, but I look forward to discussing them all with you in the future. Check back here often for updates. And to answer what will probably my first question, no, unfortunately Harley and Minerva will not be coming along as they seem to be deeply engrossed in more meaningful business.
Hey. Just wanted to throw up something new, so here’s Minerva. She’s announcing that she’s not going to your party and you can’t come to hers. What do you want? She’s a mink. Even the best of them are trouble. I remember this one time when I was a kid rafting down the Truckee River in an inner tube and …well, I’ll just say it involved a mink, a wild one and it was sort of awful.
I know, the box off to the side says I no longer do conventions, but I’m making an exception for this — I’ve been invited to take part in a San Diego Comic Con panel, 85 Years of Batman – A Look Back With Professionals, Thursday afternoon July 25th at 4:15 in Room 6A. I’m very excited to participate in this event with Michael Uslan, Mark Waid, Athena Finger and other amazing Bat-folks to be announced. See you there!
